2. How do I choose the right strain for me?
What determines the effects of a “strain” is the terpene profile. Many have heard of the cannabinoids THC and CBD, but terpenes are a huge part of the chemical composition of cannabis, fruits, flowers, etc. There are over 150 terpenes in cannabis which all have measurable effects on your health and mood. If cannabis smells like lavender, for example, it contains a terpene called linalool, which is found within lavender and also within cannabis strains like OG18 or GrandDaddy Purple.
3. How can I save money on my medicine?
Do comparison shopping. Most dispensaries post their full menus online along with the prices. Subscribe to dispensary email newsletters — they often announce sales here. If you are a Veteran, ask about a discount. Many dispensaries offer up to 10 percent savings for Vets.
